chicken noodle soup

ingredients for Chicken Noodle Soup: 

  • Shallot 

  • Garlic 

  • Mushrooms

  • Chicken Bone Broth

  • Chicken Broth

  • Cream of Chicken Soup 

  • Chicken Breast

  • Frozen Peas & Carrots 

  • 1 tbsp Butter

  • Egg Noodles

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Paprika

  • Italian Seasoning

STEPS: 

  1. Heat a pot & put some olive oil in there

  2. Saute your shallot & garlic

  3. Add your mushrooms, paprika, italian seasoning, and salt 

  4. Once mushrooms have cooked down & thrown liquid, add your can of cream of chicken, then bone broth and chicken broth

  5. Bring soup to a boil, then drop to a simmer

  6. Add cooked chicken (we don’t like cooking our chicken in our soup, so we cook it separately)

  7. Add your butter (this is optional but we really like the creaminess it adds)

  8. Cover your soup

  9. Add egg noodles and your frozen peas and carrots

  10. Once the noodles are cooked, you’re ready to go! 

  11. If you’re like us, we eat this with some sourdough bread and a good helping of butter!
